Welcome to the Suffolk Organic Gardeners’ website.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic group of gardeners, allotment holders and smallholders based in the Bury St. Edmunds area; our aims are to support organic gardeners and growers in Suffolk and to promote the wider organic movement. Members range in experience from complete novice to highly experienced individuals who are glad to share their expertise with others.

We have discussion meetings and talks, which generally take place at the Friends’ Meeting House, St. John’s Street, Bury St. Edmunds on Tuesday evenings at 7:30pm. We also arrange visits to gardens, allotments and smallholdings during the warmer months. Non-members are always welcome to attend our meetings, though we do charge a small attendance fee. If it is your first time at one of our meetings or you would like to join our group, please make yourself known to any of the committee and we will do our best to make you feel welcome, answer any questions you may have and introduce you to other members.
